We’ve always been innovators. In 1995, we began offering PDH courses to engineers using what was, at that time, a state-of-the-art business plan. We were renting books, audio tapes, and even video cassettes to engineers. We had an early web presence to help PEs find the courses that were mailed to them, and then mailed back to us with completed quizzes. Through the years, technology changed and our course formats changed to CDs, DVDs, USB flash drives, and finally to online courses and webinars. Now, Professional Development Options again is innovating with our free webinars and online course subscription packages.

Free Lunchtime Webinars

NoonPi provides free 60-minute webinars covering topics in various engineering disciplines, including Engineering Ethics. These webinars, which are held around lunchtime, qualify for 1 PDH of credit for engineers towards their PE license renewal.

ONLINE COURSES

NoonPi provides unlimited access to a curated library of hundreds of courses for professional engineers. The site enables engineers to complete the courses online, then instantly download and print the course certificate of completion.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

Professional Development Options, the parent company of NoonPi is an approved provider of continuing education for engineers in all the U.S. states that have a formal approval process.

NoonPi’s courses and webinars are accepted for PDH credit by all other state engineering boards that don’t have a formal approval process, although some states place restrictions on course topics and the number of credit hours that can be earned using online courses and webinars.

NoonPi’s compliance team maintains a relationship with Board staff and keeps track of changes in PDH requirements, which we post on the website’s State Requirements pages for the benefit of our customers.

Six state boards pre-approve continuing education providers. Courses taken from the NoonPi website are provided and administered by Professional Development Options, an approved provider in all of these states.
