Will your score on this month’s quiz be high enough to allow you to remove your PIRATE COSTUME? Or, will a low score keep you DISGUISED? Here’s the October 2022 Pop Quiz for Engineers. Are you smarter than an undergraduate?
This was my worst quiz. Most of it this time was outside my usual area. (That is my story and I am sticking to it.) The questions for the usual yes I want to take the next quiz may be a little awkward for quite a few people. As in example, I am only maintaining my original registration, which is not in my current, and likely last before I am planted, state of residence.

It might seem that questions 3 is a trick and not a treat! While the bulk modulus is inversely related to compressibility, many believe that liquids are not compressible and therefore any relationship is meaningless. Thanks to a liquids Non compressibility the hydraulic brakes in my car work just fine as well as my log splitter to name a few. But then I am merely an electrical engineer and what do I know about hydraulics. Fun question. P S I got #1 correct!
