This course introduces 3-phase systems. You’ll learn how to calculate line-to-line voltages, verify balanced load situations and determine average, reactive and apparent power for a number of different configurations. The course covers Y-connected generators with Y-connected balanced load and ?-connected balance load and ?-connected generators with Y-connected and ?-connected balanced loads.
The course material is provided in an illustrative manner, with equations presented without extensive derivation.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the operation of Y-connected generators.
- Explain the operation of a Y-connected generator supplying a balanced Y-connected load.
- Analyze a Y-connected generator supplying a balanced delta-connected load.
- Explain a delta-connected generator supplying a balanced load.
