This 4-hour course provides an overview of the lighting market in the United States and how fluorescent lighting is used in the energy markets. The course reviews the fundamentals of lighting, how fluorescent lamps work as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of fluorescent lighting. Finally the course discusses how fluorescent lamps may be used in different applications.
