Neil Weisenfeld, P.E., MS

Neil Weisenfeld, P.E., MS, has more than 40 years of engineering experience in the power industry, spanning power generation, transmission, substations, and electric distribution systems. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York and Manhattan College, respectively.
 
Mr. Weisenfeld has taught P.E. license preparatory courses as well as continuing education courses for nearly 20 years. His continuing education courses cover a range of topics, including electric power systems, engineering disasters, and the principles underlying modern technologies.
 
Mr. Weisenfeld is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has served for more than 20 years on the Executive Committee of the IEEE Power and Energy Society. He holds five U.S. patents and has been recognized for technical innovation and professional contributions to the industry.
