David E. McKee, P.E.
Most of David McKee’s experience is related to land development activities. He has been a consultant for multiple communities reviewing and permitting other Engineers work for compliance with land use, zoning and technical regulations and requirements of the municipality. He has also been retained as a consultant by developers and completed many land development design and permitting projects and been employed as a land development director for a development company in the state of Florida. He has assembled project teams for many land development activities and coordinated their efforts.
His areas of expertise cover the full gamut of land development activities, from land use and zoning issues through to final certifications of projects so they can be placed into use. The efforts include land use and zoning activities, both preparing the full submittals for review by staff and elected officials and actual participation in public hearings. He has completed full site design activities and preparation of permit applications for federal, state and local agencies. He is proficient in AutoCAD use along with other engineering and design software programs and has spent an extensive amount of time in the field reviewing, inspecting and certifying construction efforts and followed that up with the preparation of as-builts and turn-over/certification packages.
Projects range in size from a small one acre commercial lot to projects exceeding one thousand acres covering a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial projects and include: residential subdivisions, multi-family development, mixed use projects, health care facilities, commercial centers, industrial and warehouse projects, recreational facilities, restaurants and water dependent facilities.
