Lance Brumfield, P.E., PhD

Lance Brumfield, P.E., PhD, specializes in failure analysis, forensic engineering, and materials engineering in the legal and industrial sectors. He has worked on projects involving a wide range of subjects including the petroleum and chemical industries, automotive and transportation sectors, structural failures, consumer products, fires, and explosions. Dr. Brumfield is a registered professional engineer in the state of Louisiana. 

Dr. Brumfield received his doctorate from Louisiana State University in mechanical engineering, where he studied pool boiling heat transfer and materials. He was awarded the IGERT fellowship for his research in fluid dynamics. 

Dr. Brumfield is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
