The effective utilization of high-efficiency boiler exhaust venting can increase efficiency and decrease costs. In this webinar, we will cover the key differences between non-condensing and condensing systems, how to properly design a system when common venting is required, how design can impact the performance of these systems, and review the efficacy of the venting design principles that have been in use for decades.
We will begin with an overview of venting categories and their respective static pressures and vent gas temperatures. Sizing calculations will be provided for each category, as well as examples and applications. Additional relevant topics will be explored such as the condensation of exhaust gas, excess air and its potential dangers, common venting types, and draft induction.
Finally, we will address continuous operation and Sequence Draft Control. Layouts, system configurations, specifications, and special gas venting products will be explained.
