The course material would benefit greatly from the inclusion of a glossary and/or a definition of terms.

A lot of data given but most of it straightforward and if this document is saved for reference, it can be used to get through the basics and assist in making sure appropriate testing techniques are utilized before acceptance of the system.

The course material is interesting and definitely applicable to my work. However, the course document needs to be reviewed for readability and cleaned up. There are a number of instances of incomplete sentences. It would also be very helpful to have the text clearly identify data items that are given as assumptions in the Examples to facilitate understanding of the method and concepts for calculating signal transfer characteristics.

The course was generally good although it jumped rather quickly into advanced examples without quite enough background discussion. Terms should be defined at first use. Many were not or were defined much later (a few examples are AWS, SINAD, QAM, TIA, USGS, EIRP).

The material on link-budget calculations was sloppily done. Numerous terms were used without being defined or explained, making it hard to follow the calculations. I applaud the author for trying to include technical material. He just didn't explain it very well.
