Good Course, anticipated it to be more specific for Wireless Data Networks, but was more directed towards cellular or radio systems.

Hoped there would be more discussion on building interior network design.

I really enjoyed this class. The material was at a level that I was able to follow very easily. I got lost in the calculations, but understood the intent and focus of them.
Travis Spokes |
Very in-depth technical overview of wireless communications system design.

Excellent course.... I earned my Ham license as a high school sophomore farm boy in bucolic southern Iowa. This course suggested what my life would have been like, if I had gone on to equip my small town's police and firemen with copies of my radio station and its citizens with cell phones. Instead I unnecessarily complicated my life with an Iowa State University Electrical Engineering degree, a move to Texas Instruments in Dallas, two more EE degrees, a EE license, teaching in three Texas universities and two troubled marriages. Ah, "The saddest words of tongue and pen, what might have been" ("Maud Muller," Longfellow).

Good level course that flows along the lines of the engineering work required to complete a project, i.e., design, integration, test, and turn-up.
Earl Rasmussen |
