Good review of VRF systems. Seeing them more and more and wanted some information on them.

I think some of the stats in the introduction may be outdated due to the age of the course (2012?). However, the information contained is well presented. As someone with an electrical background, I found myself digging deeper into the subject by doing research via the internet as I went thru the course. As such I spent 6 hours today on this subject, not 3 hours as normal for this course. Examples would include looking for a full cycle drawing in both the heat mode, and the cooling mode. I did also find information outside this course to review exactly how a reversing valve works, and how it is controlled by its operating coil via its pilot valve. That helped tie all things together much better. As an engineer that also owns multifamily rental housing with baseboard resistive heat, I've long considered looking to this type of VRFS upgrade to enhance my property value. I've considered it also for my single family rental housing that I own to enhance the existing heating system, while providing a backup to single source, single point gas heating systems/ac systems too. Updated courses would be nice if this one is truly outdated, especially reviewing differences between various manufactures.
